E-Learning education

As a new school, ADIS is striving to align its standards, assessments, curriculum, instruction, professional development and learning environments to create 21st century Framework and produce 21st century outcomes for today’s students. In order to meet those standards, we need to bring the best innovative e-learning resources to our school.
The required resources are listed below:

21st century Framework strongly encourages a balance of assessments, including high-quality standardized testing along with effective classroom and summative assessments. It also emphasizes useful feedback on student performance that is imbedded into everyday learning. The schools are encouraged to have a balanced portfolio of measures to assess the educational system’s effectiveness at reaching high levels of student competency in 21st century skills.

At ADIS, we are interested in providing students and parents with the well balanced external and internal assessments aligned with CCSS and International Standards. Students at ADIS are required to take MAP, or the Measure of Academic Progress, 3 times per year from Gr. 3 to Gr. 10.  MAP is a computerized adaptive test which helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child’s academic growth. Taking MAP is obligatory for all American Curriculum Schools inside and outside USA.

21st Century Skills Framework puts great emphasis on developing students reading skills and strategies. To make our students to be more involved in reading, we are currently piloting Raz-Plus Leveled Reading Programme for Grades 1 to 5. It provides comprehensive leveled reading resources for students through an interactive learning portal designed to keep them motivated and engaged.

Moreover, at ADIS we are currently having negotiations with the world’s largest providers of school libraries Mackin to help us set both a research center/library and a digital library for our students. Schoology is a school management program to help improve communication between students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
is an interactive/social learning platform for teachers, students, and parents. They offer educators a unique opportunity to connect with students and a chance to begin a dialogue that meets students with their experiences to critically examine the use of the internet and ethical use of media and online formats.

Benefits: Classrooms of the 21st century need to be designed around networking structure that assists teachers in meeting curricular goals while students benefit from a flexible interface that keeps them engaged. Networking tools have the potential to reinforce student- centered learning through opportunities of inquiry. Teachers and students stand to benefit from social networking tools like Gizmos. Imax STEAM trax k-12 engineering program.
